On April 26, 2016, Bernice and Armand Thieblot treated us to a tour of their Quarry Gardens in Schuyler, Virginia. The gardens will be open to the public in April of 2017, and in the meantime, we were able to see the ongoing work. Bridges have been built; walking trails have been constructed; and roads have been built on the 40 acres. An impressive 15,000 plants will be planted this summer. There were twenty members and their guests who went on the tour. One of the nice things about the Thieblots is that they realized that all members do not have the same physical capabilities. Some of us walked and others toured by car. Bernice points out features of the plan (below):
